Charleston, W. Va. – Chartwell International has acquired 95 Bulkrailer flat cars to be used for waste transportation. The cars will be used to carry intermodal containers the company already owns and will help expand the company’s waste-by-rail operations.

In other company news, Chartwell also has announced that it has formed agreements with European investors to purchase up to $10,500,000 of its shares of common stock through a private placement. In connection with this financing, the company has agreed to file a registration statement covering the resale of the common stock purchased by the investors following its fiscal year-end audit.

Chartwell International is an environmental industry holding company that focuses on waste-by-rail services, logistics, equipment, transportation and disposal options, including landfill management.
