Aluminum Industry Receives EPA Award

Washington, D.C. -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded its Climate Change Protection Award to the aluminum industry's 12-member Voluntary Aluminum Industrial Partnership for reaching its 2000 goal to reduce perfluorocarbon (PFC) emissions from U.S. primary smelting by 45 percent.
