Waste Pro Takes Over NOLA

NEW ORLEANS – Waste Pro is proud to participate in this year’s WasteExpo at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, May 1-4, 2023. During the conference, companies will network with thousands of attendees and visit a variety of global waste and recycling exhibitors. Highlights of this year’s event at the Waste Pro exhibition area will be special meet and greets with Chairman and Founder of Waste Pro John Jennings, President/CEO Sean Jennings, COO Keith Banasiak, the NFL New Orleans Saints Cheer Krewe, New Orleans Saints Mascot Gumbo, and the NBA New Orleans PelSquad Dance Team. Waste Pro is the exclusive waste services sponsor for the NFL New Orleans Saints and the NBA Pelicans teams.

Chief Operating Officer Keith Banasiak is part of the planning team for the conference, “We are looking forward to EXPO this year, especially with the growth and expansion of Waste Pro Louisiana in multiple service areas.” In 2022, leaders in Denham Springs, Hammond, Ponchatoula, St. James Parish, and New Orleans all selected Waste Pro to be their new waste collection provider. This increased those being served by Waste Pro to an additional 50,000 customers in the region.

“This conference allows us to showcase not only local partnerships, but the company’s overall consistent organic growth in the industry,” said Louisiana Regional Vice President Jesse Murphy. A solid waste veteran of over 30 years and a New Orleans native, Jesse joined Waste Pro in 2015. He quickly rose from Operations Manager in New Orleans and Baton Rouge to recently being promoted to Regional Vice President of Louisiana. “Waste Pro has been an integral community partner in Louisiana for over twelve years, and we are excited to participate in the conference here in New Orleans,” said Jesse.

Waste Pro is honored to have a winner of the prestigious Waste 360 40 under 40 this year, Samantha Barreiro, Regional Human Resources Manager for Central Florida. This program recognizes inspiring and innovative professionals under the age of 40 whose work in waste, recycling, and organics and have made a significant contribution to the industry. Previous winners from Waste Pro also attending the event include President and CEO Sean Jennings and Director of Communications Tracy Meehan. They plan to attend the upcoming ceremony, during WasteExpo when Barreiro will formally accept her award in New Orleans.
