Guttenberg, N.J. — Recovery Technologies Group (RTG) has signed an agreement with Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich., to collect approximately 6 million recalled Firestone Wilderness AT tires from Ford and Lincoln car dealerships to turn them into rubber crumb, which can be used in recyclable products such as automobile parts and athletic turf. This represents approximately half of the number of tires that were recalled.
