January 14, 2015
Where others see trash, Palmer Township officials see treasure.
That's why the township is planning to build a larger recycling center, according to its township supervisors' chairman.
A $250,000 matching state grant announced this week puts the township in position to renovate an old metal structure on South Nulton Road within sight of the current recycling center on Hartley Avenue.
"The recycling center and recycling program have been received very well by the township residents and the businesses," said supervisors' Chairman David Colver.
