Washington County Attempts to Launch Ridwell-Like Recycling Program

Washington County, Oregon is attempting to launch a recycling program in July which is being called a "copycat" of Seattle-based subscription service Ridwell.

Ridwell was asked to stop operating in the area and is facing a series a civil penalties if it continues. However, vendors that accept hard-to-recycle items are unaware of any partnerships to date.
