Clement Industries

Clement Industries Inc., Minden, La., offers its Hi Performance series of steel ejector units. The trailers' capacities range from 55 cubic yards to 100 cubic yards and come in lengths ranging from 30 feet to 52 feet. Ejectors are available in open and closed tops for compactor loading. The company says there is a Clement Ejector trailer to fit most waste hauling requirements. The company also manufactures stainless steel dump trailers for corrosive materials, such as fly ash, some sludges and ore concentrates.

Columbia Corp., Hillsboro, Ore., manufactures the Low Profile tipper for trailers. The tipper is capable of unloading 10 to 12 trailers per hour with an approximate three-minute cycle time, the company says.

The East Unloader aluminum transfer trailer from East Manufacturing, Randolph, Ohio, has a 100- to 140-cubic yard capacity. Models are available with live unloading systems or can be used on tipping platforms. The East Genesis smooth wall design is new for 2003. The top rail is made of extruded 9-inch by ⅝ inch aluminum crossmembers that are a 5ΒΌ inch extruded I-beam design on 12-inch centers. The 101-cubic-yard trailer can be as light as 15,500 pounds, the company says. Features include a plug-together wire harness and custom manufacturing.

Hallco Manufacturing, Tillamook, Ore., manufactures live floors for transfer trailers, including the Double Ridge deck, Triple Ridge Deck and continuous bearings. The Double Ridge floor features an impact-absorbing ridge for top-loading applications. The Triple Ridge floor features a 1-inch-wide, full-length center wear strip and is used for construction and demolition (C&D) debris applications.
