State air quality regulators are taking public comments on a medical waste burning plant's proposal to relocate to Tooele County.
In addition to taking public comment through April 23, the Division of Air Quality will hold a hearing on Stericycle relocation plan on April 18 in Tooele.
Stericycle has proposed burning 18,000 tons of medical waste per year at its new site. That's up from about 7,000 tons per year at its current North Salt Lake City location.
