North Carolina Workers Help Couple Find Jewelry in Trash

About a half dozen sanitation workers assisted a couple in North Carolina after they accidentally threw out a substantial amount of jewelry.

Chuck alerted sanitation workers about the jewelry after Pam realized it was lost. He caught up to them about 25 houses down from theirs.

The New Hanover County landfill sees 700 trucks every single day, about 1,500 tons of trash. Crews allowed Pam and Chuck Smith to search through a load for the lost items.
