The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) is participating in Safe + Sound Week 2019 (August 12-18) with the Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration (OSHA). Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event held each August that recognizes the successes of workplace safety and health programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep America's workers safe.

“NWRA and our member companies work hard to promote workplace safety. We expect every employee to go home to their families safely. We are pleased to participate in Safe + Sound Week 2019,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith in a statement.
