Halloween Candy Made from Landfill Diverted Fruits and Vegetables

With Halloween right around the corner, a large amount of candy waste will soon hit the landfill as kids throw out their least favorites and get too full of sweets. Amy Keller of the Spangler Candy family, the makers of the iconic Dum Dum Lollipops, has a solution: climate candy. The candies are called FAVES and are sweet, chewy, and plant-based. The company says each packet of candy contains four servings of fruits and vegetables that were diverted from landfills.
