Employee Dies in Georgia Recycling Plant Accident

An employee of recycler Syncot Plastics Inc. was killed in an industrial accident March 17 at the company’s Cartersville, Ga., facility, apparently after being dragged through a mixing machine.

The 40-year-old man was cleaning the machine at about 7 a.m. when he was caught in a roller bar and dragged through the equipment, according to an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, which quoted Cartersville police.
