Lamont, Calif., Recycling Center's Legal Action Settled Under New Owner

Two lawsuits filed against Kern County have been settled after a legal battle involving the Community Recycling facility in Lamont.

This is the same facility where two brothers died while cleaning out a storm drainage shaft filled with hydrogen sulfide in October 2011. 

The people in the area haven't forgotten Heladio Ramirez, 22, and Armando Ramirez, 16. The flowers at their memorial are still very much alive, and although the pictures are faded, crosses still stand in their remembrance.
