Pa. Landfill Sued by N.J. Residents Over Odors Looks to Renew its Permit

A Pennsylvania landfill that has been the subject of complaints and a lawsuit is looking to renew its solid waste permit.

Waste Management, owner of the Tullytown landfill, has filed an application to renew the permit that would allow it to continue its operations for a period of time yet to be determined, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection said in a news release. Its current permit expires on May 23.
