SPSA Considering Sale of WTE Plant

The Southeastern Public Service Authority (SPSA), Chesapeake, Va., says it will consider offers from Covanta Energy and Wheelabrator Technologies for its waste-to-energy (WTE) plant in Portsmouth, Va. That’s according to The Tidewater Times newspaper.

According to the paper, Covanta and Wheelabrator will each submit offers by mid-July.
