Mack, Volvo Announce Restructuring

Greensboro, N.C., and Allentown, Pa. -- Volvo Global Trucks has announced that its two North American operating units, Mack Trucks Inc. and Volvo Trucks North America Inc., have restructured.

Mack and Volvo Trucks will maintain separate headquarters, but several functions will be brought together under common leadership, reporting to Michel Gigou, president and CEO of Volvo Trucks.

Volvo Global Trucks also has named Terrence C. Grube vice president of legal, Goran R. Gustafsson vice president of customer engineering, Sam Johnston vice president of dealer development, Rikard Jonsson senior vice president of parts sales and marketing, Marc J. Kalbermatten vice president of information services/information technology, Mark T. McLaughlin senior vice president of human resources, John Miles vice president of communications, and Harold W. Wiegel vice president of customer satisfaction.
