Redwood Materials has announced it will build a new $3.5 billion EV battery recycling plant in South Carolina.
The facility will be located near Charleston, SC. The company plans to break ground in the first quarter of 2023.
Redwood's plans coincide with the rush to convert the automobile industry to electric vehicles.
