NextWorth Partners on E-Waste Recycling Trade-In Plan with Verizon

NextWorth Solutions is partnering on a consumer electronics trade-in program with the Wireless Zone system, the largest Verizon Wireless franchise in the United States.

Billerica, Mass.-based trade-in firm NextWorth, following a pilot program, is managing the e-waste recycling plan in more than 375 Wireless Zone stores, according to a news release.

The trade-in program allows customers to turn in their used consumer electronic devices and receive a Wireless Zone gift card that can be used toward a new device or any other purchase at a Wireless Zone store.

To help launch the program, NextWorth will donate $2 for every trade-in to the Wireless Zone Foundation for Giving Inc. through August.

"Trade-in is becoming an increasingly important way for retailers and carriers to enable customers to upgrade faster and for less, and we look forward to helping the Wireless Zone system drive its business forward," said Jeff Trachsel, NextWorth chief marketing officer.
