Charlottesville, Va., Launches City Market Composting Program

This year the City Market will include a pilot composting program, provided by a partnership between the City of Charlottesville, GreenBlue, and Black Bear Composting.

The program will offer a Composting Station that will serve as a collection point for organic waste from market vendors and customers as well as serve as a drop-off location for residents. The program will be available to all interested residents and run during the Saturday City Market April 4th to September 26th.
