Atlanta -- The National Carpet Recycling Agreement, a voluntary agreement formed to eliminate the landfill disposal and incineration of used carpeting, was signed yesterday by carpet and fiber manufacturers, the Carpet and Rug Institute, state governments, non-governmental organizations, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
