EPA Announces Wastewise Partner Awards

Washington, D.C. -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced its Wastewise Partner Award winners. The winners - educational institutions, county and state operations, and nonprofit organizations - received the awards for their waste prevention achievements, innovative recycling programs, and the use and manufacture of recycled-content products.

Winners include Pitney Bowes, General Motors Corp., Eastman Kodak, Verizon, the U.S. Postal Service (Alabama), the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, the state of Ohio and Seattle University.
