Casella Waste Making Cash Tender Offer

Casella Waste Systems Inc. is making a cash tender offer for all 11 percent senior second lien notes due in 2014.

The Rutland, Vt.-based waste and recycling company said in a news release that the offer and consent solicitation will expire Oct. 22.

The company did not disclose a reason for the offer.

Holders who tender their notes by the early tender date of Oct. 5 will receive $1,060 per $1,000 principal note amount. Holders who tender their notes by the Oct. 22 date will receive $1,030 per $1,000 principal note amount.
