Novolex Introduces Food Packaging Containers Made with Minimum 10% Post-Consumer Recycled Content

Novolex, a South Carolina-based sustainable packaging company, is introducing food package containers that are made with at least 10% post-consumer recycling content.

Novolex, a South Carolina-based sustainable packaging company, is introducing food package containers that are made with at least 10% post-consumer recycling content.

“We are proud to add to our growing number of products manufactured with recycled content,” Stephen Kapantais, Novolex director of technology for rigid plastics, said. “Sustainability is critical to the future of our industry, and we are committed to creating even more innovative products to reduce our impact on the environment and support the circular economy.”

Waddington North America, a brand of Novolex, are producing multi-use clamshells in several custom shapes, transparent dessert cups in three sizes, BreakAway tamper-evident containers, and CakePak bases and lids.

Novolex operates more than 50 manufacturing plants across North America and Europe, plus two plastic film recycling facilities.
