Waste Industries To Pay Dividends

Raleigh, N.C. -- Waste Industries USA Inc.’s Board of Directors has declared a semi-annual dividend of $0.08 per share, payable to shareholders on June 1, 2004. Jim Perry, president and CEO, says "We are pleased with the positive operating momentum we have achieved over the past 12 months … This cash dividend is a great way to reward our shareholders for their support and confidence."
