WCA Waste Corp., a subsidiary of Waste Corporation of America, Houston, is going public. WCA will raise approximately $97.75 million through an initial public offering, according to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Washington, D.C. The company owns 10 transfer stations, seven construction and demolition landfills, six municipal solid waste landfills and 15 collection operations. As of last year, the company's cadre included 87,000 commercial, industrial and residential customers.
