San Antonio Bridges Labor Shortage with CDL Training Program

The city of San Antonio is reaping the benefits of a new CDL training program aimed at closing its labor shortage gap.

Participants of the program are fast-tracked through three months of apprenticeship, and many have secured positions at San Antonio's Solid Waste Department.

The city recently launched an educational program targeting illegal dumping and has invested more than $500,000 in equipment upgrades.
