N.Y.C. Sanitization Department Will Be Collecting Trash on Labor Day

The N.Y.C. sanitization department will be accepting volunteers for trash collection services on Labor Day. They are hoping to have 800 volunteers in order to collect trash across the city.

While New York Cities Sanitization Department is continuously hit with new challenges; they already have their solution for the Labor Day weekend predicament. While most waste collection services would not do rounds collecting trash or recycling on this day, the department has asked for volunteers to do the job.

 

With consitent complaints from citizens, the sanitization department felt it was important to collect waste on this day. They are aiming for a goal of 800 volunteers.
