Waste Industries releases fourth-quarter 2005 earnings

Raleigh, N.C.-based Waste Industries has announced its fourth-quarter (4Q) earnings reporting a net income of $3.7 million for 4Q 2005. The company received total revenues of $80.8 million for the quarter, according to a press release. For 4Q 2004, the company reported a net income of $2.5 million on revenues of $70.7 million. For 2005, the company had a net income of $12 million. Total revenues for the year equaled $310.2 million. The company reported a net income of $11.8 million in 2004 with total revenues of $285.9 million.
