Waste Holdings Reports 2001 Earnings

Raleigh, N.C. -- Waste Holdings Inc. has reported adjusted net income of $2.1 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2001, compared with adjusted net income of $1.6 million for the same quarter last year. The company also has reported revenues of $61.9 million, compared with $60.1 million, and adjusted operating income of $6.2 million, compared with adjusted operating income of $6.6 million for the same quarter the previous year.

Waste Holdings also has reported year-end results -- adjusted net income was $8 million, compared with adjusted net income of $8.6 million for 2000; revenues were $249.3 million, compared with revenues of $242.4 million; and adjusted operating income of $25.3 million, compared with adjusted operating income of $54.4 million.
