CLEVELAND -- Blue Point Capital Partners and its portfolio company, TAS Environmental Services (TAS), announced today the acquisition of Environmental Concepts & Services (ECS).

ECS is a specialized provider of waste transportation, non-hazardous waste treatment and disposal and other industrial services to companies operating in the manufacturing and specialty chemical end markets. Located in Springfield, Tenn., this family-owned company has offered comprehensive, turnkey waste management services with a dedication to eco-conscious practices, professionalism, integrity and customer satisfaction for more than 20 years.

Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, TAS is a leading provider of specialized environmental and industrial services across the Southern United States. TAS offers a comprehensive portfolio of environmental services and has built a strong reputation for its commitment to customer care, operational excellence and responsiveness.

“ECS is the perfect complementary fit to the TAS platform, aligning well in culture, vision and a dedication to customer service and satisfaction,” said Blue Point Partner Sean Ward. “The partnership will enhance TAS’ operations, adding additional wastewater and waste treatment capabilities to the platform’s already extensive service offerings, and building on our mission of being the provider of choice in the environmental services sector.”

ECS marks TAS’ fifth acquisition since partnering with Blue Point in May of 2019. With Blue Point’s support, the TAS team will continue to broaden its attractive waste management capabilities and pursue additional well-aligned opportunities.

“This partnership is a continuation of the value creation strategy the Blue Point and TAS teams committed to from the outset — to expand the platform’s footprint and capabilities through strategic M&A and organic value creation while preserving its commitment to excellent service,” said Blue Point Partner Charley Geiger. “We are honored to work alongside the TAS and ECS teams to assist in fostering their ongoing success.”
