On Thursday Waste Management (WM) confirmed an acquisition in regard to Indiana-based Ray’s Trash Service. This family-owned waste and recycling business is the largest of its kind in Indiana and employs over 600 individuals. Meanwhile, WM employs over 42,000 people. At its current state, it is unclear whether or not Ray's will still function as their own identity under the WM umbrella or be retired under them.
