Officials Approve Bethlehem Landfill Rezoning Despite Opposition

A packed council meeting Wednesday night listened as Saucon Township council members approved zoning changes on a 275-acre property adjacent to Bethlehem Landfill.

This plants the seed for operators Bethlehem Landfill Co. to expand the site. While there is no current application to expand the landfill at this time, residents are concerned that this will lower property values.
