Qcells is partnering with SOLARCYCLE to recycle the company’s decommission, owned, and installed solar panels in the United States.

This partnership marks the first of its kinds for the industry with a major solar manufacturer teaming up with an advanced solar recycler in the United States. The two companies will accelerate their shared vision of building a circular, clear energy supply chain that creates jobs and reduces U.S. reliance on imported, raw materials.

Materials recovered from Qcells’ panels, like aluminum, silver, copper, and more, will be reused in the domestic supply chain to manufacture the next generation of clean energy products. SOLARCYCLE’s technology extracts more than 95% of the value in a solar panel module.
