Waste Age: What is your pet peeve?
Winters: When people say it can’t be done.
Waste Age: What is your idea of the perfect day?
Winters: Working out, spending time with my family and golfing in the afternoon.
Waste Age: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Winters: The best advice I ever received was from my father: If you want to be the best, you have to work the hardest.
Waste Age: What was the last book you read?
Winters: Bill O’Reilly’s “Killing Lincoln.”
Waste Age: What is your favorite movie?
Winters: Rudy.
Waste Age: What is your favorite TV show?
Winters: Boardwalk Empire.

Winters: U2.
Waste Age: What is the strangest piece of trash you’ve ever come across?
Winters: Llama manure from a residential route.
Waste Age: Do you prefer the beach or mountains?
Winters: Beach.

Winters: My wife.
Waste Age: If you could invite three people — living or dead — to a dinner party, who would they be?
Winters: My father, my father’s father, “Joe Winters,” who I never got to meet, and my mother’s mother, who I also never got to meet.
Waste Age: If you weren’t serving in your current role, what would you like to be?
Winters: A pro golfer.
Waste Age: What is your favorite sports team?
Winters: The New York Jets.
Waste Age: If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Winters: The ability to read minds.
Waste Age: What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done?
Winters: A helicopter ride with my son over the Grand Canyon.

Winters: I am a former pro boxer.
