Formula E team, Envision Racing, has created the world’s first racecar made entirely out of discarded electronic waste.

Electronic waste is notorious for being harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly. To put emphasis on the issue, the Envision Racing team is stepping in with its Recover-E initiative which has now taken used scraps to create a one-of-a-kind car.

“Through design and creativity, we want to show the issue of e-waste and its potential to accelerate the creation of a circular economy,” says Liam Hopkins, British designer and artist.

The car is equipped with laptops, keyboards, phones, vapes, wires, and more. The car shows off a creative way to reuse electronics, instead of throwing them away. The car is fully drivable, weighs 2,645 pounds, and can reach speeds up to 174 mph.
