Curtis Dorwart, Mack Trucks Vocational Product Manager, details some of the features of what he calls the star of the show for Mack at WasteExpo 2015: Its new LR waste truck series. The truck has been redesigned from top to bottom, he points out, with enhanced maneuverability, increased driver comfort and improved visibility. New features include tilt and telescopic steering columns, LED lights, suspended brake and throttle pedals, and a completely new and retooled door. Mack added more protection provisions to take serviceability and cost of ownership into consideration.
