A Tampa Waste Management garbage truck caught on fire and created havoc during rush hour on Monday, March 29.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers shut down the northbound lanes of US-301 at Bloomingdale Avenue to manage the situation. No one was injured and fire officials let the fire burn out.
