How My Lab Went From 4,000 kg to 130 kg of Waste a Year

A research lab in Ireland monitoring toxins in shellfish has managed to reduce their non-chemical waste by 95 percent.

They've managed to do this by investing in reusable glassware and compostable containers. Over a short few years and a few changes to their methods, they've managed to severely reduce their waste and become an example of the possibilities within sustainable research. 

Those at the lab published a book on the measures their lab took to reduce their environmental impacts.
