Ontario County, Calif., Board Rejects Waste Reduction Goal

A resolution calling for an aggressive waste-reduction goal for Ontario County has again been rejected — this time by the full Board of Supervisors.

The move to reject the resolution, which calls for an ambitious 90 percent reduction in the county waste stream, comes as the expansion of the Ontario County-owned landfill in Seneca looms.
