Madison, Wis. – The GrassRoots Recycling Network (GRRN) recently has adopted Zero Waste Business Principles, allowing the organization to better work with businesses to identify, evaluate and collaborate ways to reduce production and operating wastes.
GRRN is a network of recycling professionals and waste reduction activists pushing public policy and corporate practice beyond recycling. Among the group's zero waste principles include: zero waste to landfill or incineration; takeback responsibility; and buy reused, recycled or composed product.
