Environmental justice is a core value to the Biden Administration as it continues to announce rulemaking and policy to combat climate change.

 

While waste-to-energy can power households and businesses utilizing spent resources, opponents say the location of incineration plants and air pollution are causing inequities for disadvantaged communities across the country.

 

Clean Air Baltimore, a project managed by the Energy Justice Network, is working to shift jobs to clean energy and zero waste alternatives.
