Plasco, the waste-to-energy company that once appeared to hold the secret to making Ottawa's garbage problem disappear, has entered into bankruptcy protection.
The company announced that under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) Plasco will have some "time and stability" to look into alternatives for the company -- including trying to sell the company.
