Looking to help households deal with the excess of waste spawned from the holidays, Santa Barbara, Cali. is allowing residents to set out more materials than usual.

This holiday season produces extra waste from gifts, decorations, or what’s left over from seasonal parties, which is why the city is giving households a temporary increase to waste left out at the curb. From December 26 to January 6, MarBorg customers can set out an extra 95 gallons of trash, recyclables, or yard waste, bulky waste not included.
