Rockville, Md. has declared a snow emergency, closing city facilities and halting waste and recycling collection for the day.
Rockville is just one of the cities dealing with a winter snowstorm that is impacting many areas in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and more. Rockville has declared a snow emergency, requiring all vehicles to be off the roads by 10 p.m. Sunday so roads can safely be plowed.
Waste and recycling collections are being delayed for at least one day for the rest of the week. The winter snow warning is expected to be in effect until 1 a.m. Tuesday.
