Republic Services Workers in Washington Threaten to Strike

Thousands of residents in Washington may soon see recycling and yard waste pile up as 130 recycling and yard waste Republic Services workers threaten to strike if the company doesn’t give them equal pay. 

The workers are requesting the same pay as garbage workers because they do the same job. 

Republic Services says it respects its workers’ right to collective bargaining and they will continue to negotiate in good faith.
