Kansas City is still being blanketed by snow, meaning extra resources are needed to clean the streets which will delay waste and recycling collections around the city.

Residents who normally see waste and recycling collections on Monday or Tuesday must save their bins until next week as the snow is delaying Kansas City’s collection schedule. Sherae Honeycutt, City Spokesperson, has said residents may sit out two extra bags for collection next week without needing to buy tags.
