Prada, Gucci and Burberry Are Creating Sustainable Products
September 11, 2020
The fashion industry is doing its part to reduce the environmental impact of their goods. They’re incorporating ECONYL® regenerated nylon, which is made from waste to create their products. ECONYL reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 90 percent.
Today, more than 1,000 brands are using ECONYL in their products. For example, Prada’s Re-Nylon project is a collaboration between Prada and Aquafil that includes six different styles of bags all made with ECONYL® regenerated yarn. Gucci Off The Grid, the first collection from Gucci Circular Lines, is made entirely of recycled, organic, bio-based and sustainably sourced materials, including ECONYL. And
Burberry’s ReBurberry Edit is made using ECONYL regenerated nylon in its trench coats, parkas, capes, and accessories.
