City of Miami Dealing with New Industrial Waste Plume

The City of Miami may be forced to deal with yet another industrial waste plume beneath an abandoned manufacturing plant within the city.

The Miami City Council was informed the vacant Eagle Picher research facility property now being managed by a bankruptcy trust is in danger of being legally abandoned as the trust is running out of funds. The Eagle Picher property at issue is located at 200 BJ Tunnel on the Truck Route in Miami. There are chlorinated solvents contaminating the property.
