Decommissioning a nuclear waste plant is often a very lengthy and laborious task.

A company called Ramco has partnered with Magnox and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority to help mediate this problem by taking in the equipment no longer in use to be auctioned off to the public.

Whether for practicality or novelty, the company has been able to find the appropriate audience for each of the items they take away from the nuclear plants. This has allowed for a lot less of this waste to go straight to landfills in the form of C&D, or construction and demolition, waste.
