The waste and recycling industry has long been dubbed one of the most dangerous occupations, but based on the recently released 2019 data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the industry dropped from the fifth to the sixth deadliest occupation. This is a small victory for the industry, but safety must remain top of mind in order to keep industry employees safe on the job and on the road.  In this Super Safety Session, presented by the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA), industry safety experts will discuss workplace and transportation safety best practices, legislation and regulations, what steps you can take to enhance your safety efforts and more.

Speakers:
Adele Abrams, President, Law Office of Adele L. Abrams PC
Kirk Sander, Chief of Staff and Vice President of Safety and Standards, National Waste and Recycling Association
Noah Budnick, Senior Director of Programs and Operations, Together for Safer Roads (TSR)
Tristan Dressler, Program Coordinator, Nevada OSHA
Trooper Brian Drohn, Judicial Outreach / Industry Training and Education, Nevada Highway Patrol: Commercial Enforcement
